Overview

Twined's website design is centered on bringing the natural and organic beauty of handcrafted lamps to life, while providing an intuitive and seamless user experience. From the striking hero section to the carefully curated product pages, every element is meticulously designed to showcase the unique character and charm of each lamp, making it easy for users to find their perfect match. The use of soft and natural colors, smooth transitions, and elegant typography adds a touch of sophistication and refinement. The main purpuse with the design was to make Twined's website an experience in itself.

About the Project

Twined Lamps are a line of handcrafted wicker lamps made with natural twine, created and sold by the Twined store. Each lamp is carefully crafted and designed to provide warmth and elegance to any room in a home. They come in a variety of sizes and styles, from table and floor lamps to hanging and pendant lamps, which makes them versatile and suitable for any room, space and decor. The lamps are made with natural materials, which makes them an environmentally friendly option, and they emit a warm and cozy light that creates a relaxing atmosphere. They are unique and stylish, with natural fibers and linen shades that give them a natural and elegant look.

Objectives & Goals

Objectives:
- To create a visually appealing and user-friendly website that effectively showcases Twined's unique lamps and products.

- To increase the visibility and awareness of the Twined brand and its products.

- To make it easy for customers to find and purchase the lamps that fit their needs and preferences.

- To improve the overall user experience of the website, making it easy for visitors to navigate, find information, and interact with the brand.

Goals:
- Increase website traffic and engagement, as measured by page views, time spent on site, and click-through rates.

- Increase the number of leads and conversions, as measured by the number of newsletter sign-ups, product inquiries, and purchases.

- Improve customer satisfaction and retention, as measured by customer reviews, ratings, and repeat purchases.

- Stay competitive in the lighting industry and keep up with changing customer needs and preferences.

The Hero section make a big impact, thanks to the use of a beautiful and attention-grabbing Images carrousel, accompanied by a strong headline and a clear call to action. It offers a clear navigation, with easy-to-find links to all of the major sections of the website.

Here we highlight specific products that can draw the user's attention and help guide them to make a purchase decision, in an interactive way, so they can view prices. This will provide a more engaging and immersive user experience.

Showing the before and after of a lamp being turned on and off using an interactive image with a drag option, helps the costumer visualize the impact the lamp could have on their own space.


This interactive feature can showcase the impact that the lamp has on the lighting and mood of the space, which can help the customer make a more informed purchasing decision.

Highlighting products that are currently in high demand or have received positive feedback from customers, will help generate interest and drive sales.


And by allowing customers to view a closer image when hovering over the product, can create a better sense of the product's features, design, and quality, without having to enter the product page to see more details.

The design of the product page is intuitive, user-friendly, and visually appealing. It allows customers to easily find the products they are looking for and filter their search results according to their preferences.


Including a section to filter results with an interactive slider control for prices allows customers to quickly and easily narrow down their search to products that fit within their budget.

The individual product page will start with a large, high-quality image of the product. Any relevant information it´s displayed prominently above the image, with a clear call-to-action button to add the product to the shopping cart.


An interactive carousel of images will be included to provide inspiration for customers to create their own cozy space with the lamp.


It have a section for customer reviews, with star ratings and feedback from previous buyers. This section will help to build trust and confidence in the product.
